A side-scrolling space shooter, except your weapons are malfunctioning so you have to outmaneuver your opponents or ram them into the level boundaries.

This is the original GMTK Jam 2018 version. For general playing I recommend the updated edition.

Well that was unreasonably intense. I would have added a charge up animation to the first type of enemy ships. As it is now, fighting them is just too risky and the best approach seems to be just dodging everything.

It took me about 12 lives, but I made it to level 2 and those crescent enemies are much easier and more fun to fight than the starting ones.

The game does look very nice, has a fitting soundtrack, and is pretty fun after level 1. I just think the starting enemies could be a little more predictable.

Yeah, having a little charge-up animation sounds like a good idea. Might make a little patch with that later. Maybe some of the later levels could do with some difficulty tweaking, too... Anyway, thanks for playing and thanks or the feedback!
